Well Michael ya sure had the skip full by sound of it in ballycroy an yes i was in it. If ya carry on up the crossmolina road you come to place call Bellacorick, on you left was the turf fired power station. It was pulled down last year, but just bit further on is the " musical bridge ". Did ya ever run the stone what is always left there along the top o the bridge to play the tune ? ha ha , the baby an our lad James had the crack there manys a time an we could never pass along that road without stoppin for them to give the tune.

I agree with ya bout the boys bein layed off, its just same roun our neck o the woods. Buildin spesialy has dry up an no body build the houses coz they not sellin.
Meself an Pat who works wi me aare ok for now, we are just cruisin in now an dont want too much graft like when we was young fellas ha ha. Always leave sumthin for some other body to do Michael ha ha.
We just finish a rroof today an we will be doin block pave an drives an things now wi bit o luck. Be careful wi them heavy sinkers playin roun them boxes an deep tracks,
you know same as me how they has no teeth but they have some hard gums ha ha. An good luck to ya down lincon way.

As for the big drink an early morn singin remember what they use to say. There are many men in bed wi sick stomach an sore head. There are many men wi eyesight non too keen. But the man who drove the ass was never late for sunday mass , an was always there to eat the pigs cru been. (pigs trotters )

helo kilby and everyone, thought you might be interested in this ,kilby, my grandad on my dads side came over from ireland with his father and brothers and sisters about 1880s no mother, the kids father(my grt grandfather) was whats known as a bodger( i know what your thinking kilby)lol, he lived and worked in the woods cutting out the timber for the spindles for chairs, this was around chinnor and highwycombe, he lived in a tent, and moved about from wood to wood, the children went to school were ever he stopped to work, not for long as the children were putinto care and were fostered out, he disapeared, and never heard of again, my grandad grew up and worked on farms and moved about, then my dad and his brother sisters born, what micheal said about the way ordanary engilsh were treated rings very true to me, cause my dad told us that when he was a boy they lived in tied cottages and if the boss said you were out you had to go, he said on a couple of ocasians he came home from school to find all the furniture under a tarpaulin, and they moved on to next farm, but my father never moaned alot just said lifes is sometimes rough and get on with it, he also toldus THAT YOU ARE ARE AS GOOD AS THE NEXT BUT NO BETTER setaside

Hi evryone, well now Setaside my frient ,what you say is true an it all ring a bell wi what my farther tolt me. I knew what bodger was , they made bow winsor chairs an workt on pole lathes what were just basic lathe powerd from green livin branch or pole with belt fasten to it an round the spindle or whatever you are turnin. There was other men who were chair bottomers an they carve out the hollows in chair bottoms usin hook knife.
Me farther said some o his brother was fostered but words he used instead o fostered was "farmed out " that way some o me uncles had diffrent second names.
I f we all had our proper names we would be Halls on me farthers side. Real mix up like a lot more same as us. Me dad said as when he was little lad his older brother used to push him round in a hand cart with a lid an me dad would be inside playin the mouth organ an me uncle windin pretend handle at side o what they thought was barrel organ or as me dad called it "a hurdy gurdy ". He said they collected few bob but that time bobbys would clip ya an move ya on . He said as well that he remembert seein toff lady walkin on skipton road where all toff houses were an she was eatin apple, well me dad an more urchin pals followd her till she threw the core down an they pick it up an eat it between em. Happy days eh. An if ya tolt the young uns today they wultnt belief ya ha ha .
That time as well, me uncle Frank came back from first world war wi what they called "consumpsion" an what we would call "t.b."an he was awful sick, well me ma said as how they had to call the docter an in that day ya had to pay. Well this docter came an look me uncle Frank up an down an more than that he was taken on by a polar bear skin rug that Frank had brought back from place in war where they were takin supplys to the russion people or sumthin like that. Anyways, this docter gave me uncle what me ma calllt "chalk water "an she said as how the doc new that our Frank was a gonner but still he kept comin evry day till finally Frank gave up the ghost an died. Well now ,it came to the final reckonin for the bill for treatmen an o course the family coultnt pay for they just didnt have it . An there ya have it, didnt he take the rug what he had his eye on all the time. Now another thing was that this docter wa a fine strappin man an while Frank an all the rest o the boys went off to fight the hun he was at home livin high on the hog an swannin it round the place. So there ya have it ,just another story o the poor an the big shots.

helo everyone,, you see kilby thats why i like this site, cause most things you say match to what i was told by my elders, that thing about your family haveing diffrent names cause they were farmed out, is the same as my grandads brothers and sisters, so all have diffrent names my grandad and his sister went to same family in bledlow ridge in oxfordshire the other 5 went all about one went back to ireland . with a family called brien, I dont think i will ever be able to trace them as all diffrent names, now my mms side have been easyer norflok many generations, and have nearly sorted her gran who was from traverlling family named robinson, found an old census with her onit and more family named bullen and carter, have traed them to a place in cambridge called wimpole it seems a lot of the traverlling bullens settled there and i have a couple photos, the robinsons had a foothold in a place called smallburghnorfolk, so its all coming together, sorry to run on but its good to have a yarn, setaside

Hi Mickaleen ogh, Sleeford eh, i never was in that place i dont think but i ben fairly neer ( louth, market rasen ,somercoats, march, wisbeach ) brings back memories , an good ones they are too.
Shame they stole tthe battries offa the machines, thats the job banjaxed for the day an theres no gettin it back. They didnt steal lead for years but there draggin it offa the roofs all over now that the price has gone ape shit. We,v made the few bob replacin it this year an they always wants ya to put that anti thief paint on it after, its like treacle ha ha .
I suppose ye,ll be havin long weekend so if its nice will ya be in garden for while ? Our too robins is gettin very tame an when the baby calls em in the mornins there there strait off an she loves that. I told her she,s in charge o the livestock (robins ) while i,m at work ha ha . I see sumthin other day that i never see before, too carrion crow, an they was coursin very young rabbit down field. It was like watchin Master Mc,grah an Rose in the wellinton cup ha ha. helo Kilb,

things happen big deal, but i dont like to see a church beying robbed, low class who wouled do that, been a bad lad meself but theres a time to speak right as well as act right, not much afraid of much in this life and take most that couled happen to me gladley,i wouled just like to see my Family grow to become fine upstanding people and yes members of the comunity of who they shear the town with,i wouled like them to be responcible and cear for others feelings,i wouled like them to realise that to have doctors and firemen, evan road sweapers well it all costs money and to live in a town is to be apart of the town in a wider sence than your emeidate Family,

i see to many people now making there own little getoe's, muslims blacks the white underclass of the outer suberbs, the list goes on and on yet all they do is want want want, theres a lot of frauding going of now in this country and people lost the sence of one nation, people dont care so there children grow not to care, people think its a God given right for a doctor to help you when your little baby is ill, people think firemen must come from a majik cave and road sweepers fall out the tree when its raining,

i'm not on about the likes of the boys doing job's on the side its the total breakdown in morale values in this country now,the LABOUR goverment as prosided over a party that stands for the destruction of the Family, they do not represent Family vallues and have sort out ways of TAXING the very soul of the Family unit, they have incoraged young girles to sleep around and have babys by enyone, they give them Family workers hard won Tax money, then they fling the most stupid of welth fair state bennifit at them to sofen them more and keep them down,

there shouled be less Tax in a mans wage pakett and less bennifit to people who shouled fend for them selfs,if you kept most of the money you herned from working why wouled you need Family Tax credit ,think about it if you get 500 POUNDS A WEEK AND ONLY PAY 50 POUNDS TAX YOU DONT NEED BENNIFITS, but it incoridges people to go to work, but the goverment dont want this they want to keep the people down as the underclass and keep feeding them and the people will vote for them for they have become used to there Mothers milk, but the promlem is these Children will never grow in to Men or Women, they will never be good citezens who know that to have is to work to feed your self, the end result is a total break down of society and little gettoes with high walls of isuler dout,

this goverment is evil behond reason and have nigh on killed of the Family nigh on killed of Family vallues, they have taken over the role of Farther and Mother , they have made people think they need them with the easy money they dish out ,then they say they need pore people from forigne countrys for theres lots of jobs here but they only do this so that the poor forigne ones who stay will one day vote for them, this goverment are Lost, they will only destroy the Family unit and represent only there own dark aperasions of internal wealth,

people have got to start to realise there Childrens future is at stake, with out Family vallues there is nothing, with out the Family unit in Farther and Mother there is nothing,a Man shouled provide and a great shame to take easy money from the devil, its a short life but like i say i'm not afraid of no one and willing to die evan today and i spit in the devils eye and i spit in the eye of his off spring this coward traitored goverment who hate the Family and all it stands for ,

har thats better, and i'm doing some work in the garden a stone steps, i found some old real carved stone from an old statey home and making steps out of them,i'm always finding things, lol, but theres a difference to finding, see ya around Kilb

Now then ya ol rascal, betcha feels better wi that off ya chest ha ha . Idont think as how it makes no diffrence to the likes o you an me who,s in power . Theyre all feather there own nest an always remember Michael, look for the mony motive in evrythin in this life an its hidin just rount the corner. The baby has bin on the sick for since first o june last year an never drew a brass farthin.
She work in ireland from ten years old an always a mighty worker but since she was gettin sick over pass three years she ony could do half days so the stamp she put on was not good enough for sick pay. What bout the thirty years stamps she put on ,dont that meen nothin. Anyways , feck em an i,ll look after us asa long as ive got breath in mi body an we wont go ever hungry (a gypsy tolt me ha ha ) This is ony time as i,ll talk bout polotics coz i dont think as this is right place for it ( same as i dont think it belongs in the bar ) but me an the baby are so fekin sick o the dog dancers as are runnin uor country that we didn,t even vote this time. If we had gone to pollin station what we have always done then we would have wtite at bottom of form, (none of the above ) that way they can,t call it a spoilt ballot paper an it just register your protest. Thats it for polotics from me.
I just come in from garden where me an the baby bin all day. Weather tidy up here today an hope same for tammorow. Just ready to open bar, hope ya had the good day out of it an did bit on yer steps an always remember, if ya live a good life when you are young ya can re-live it agaain when yer old an enjoy it all over agen. good luck your frient ------kilby------

who ya callin a rascal, ya ole yorkshire boy, polotics hey ,better left alone ya say , left out of the bar,now the only thing that shouled be left out of the bar is a man him self,

the right man comes to know eny thing can be swpoken about, its the comany you keep ya after watch,i fought in about twenty different pubs round my way alone and polotics women football or just nothing was the cause of it,drink and male agresion will always sound the note of triumpant fallen heroes,

after say a hundred fights you turn the corner of thinking to much and relalise its just the way,its the way its always been but to mant talkers to many heroes, but the best thing i ever lerened in this life is dont ever get caught, now if people bring trouble say in verble or violence well the rules of life change, THERE IS NO RULES WHEN A MAN COMES UNDER THE KOSH, but its up to a man for what level hes prepeared to go and fair play most find there limets quite soon but they shouled of realised that the loose tounge carries a cost and manys the road that reaches a terning and its a sad river that never reachers the sea,

to many shout Kilb, but most are cowards and wouled run to the law for protection yet they break the law of human feeling in there shallow life , some get caught and layed to rest fair play but most get lucky for the right man knows the seacret of life and like i telled ya never get caught but they can not always be looky, lol lol lol

your Wife will be fine ,you lead a good life hope you die one to ,look after ya self
