| Hello to everyone. I trust that the Lord has blessed you all today. I have discovered that on my father's side that I have Romanichal/Black Dutch ancestory. My parents have been dead for many years and I was born very late in life..so I don't have any relatives alive that can tell you anything about your family that far back. I do know that my great grandmother was a Brooks and my great-great grandmother was a Black. She came from the Carolinas. I have very dark skin and black hair so I am often told that I look like the Romanichals. Just wish there was some way that I could find out for sure. Anyway, I'm glad to have found this website. I have several Romanichal friends so I have picked up a bit of their language. Kushtur Divvus |
