Hi everyone,I am new to this site and while browsing noticed this topic,i to think that it would be great if everyone who comes across any records about the travelling people could post them to a forum like this.I am researching 2 sides of my family who were travellers,Watson,s and Wilson,s,I have been quite lucky on the Watson side but finding it difficult on my Wilson,s.
If it is ok i will post some information about my Watson family, maybe it will help some one else, They mostly travelled through Scotland, will someone let me know if it is ok to post census information on here.

| Ive heard that the Beeney's were supposed to be showmen, my tree is full of Beeney's/Ripley's/Roberts but they weren't show people! I have Beeneys and Ripleys back to 1803 and Roberts back to 1791. |

Hi Delengria. I think that is a wonderful idea, it would be great to have a whole section on family names, history, photos etc. i am cinstantly on the lookout for info on both my parents sides. One being British the other being European. I spend alot of time on my laptop Valerie so feel free to let me know if you need any help.
