Mush if you look on the web there is a couple of sites with the history of the Wilsons on of Britains oldest fairground people they wed iinto the other big show folk family the Barrons and I think off the top of me sherro the Chipperfields heres the link or web adrress.

Hi Mush,I am also looking for a Wilson family.My latest find is the marriage dated 1919 in Greenock Renfrewshire
Jane Ann Wilson gen dealer /parents Thomas Wilson and Margaret Jamieson
Abraham Wilson gen dealer/parents James Wilson and Annie Lee
Jane Ann lived in a caravan in East HamiltonSt Greenock and Abraham lived in Blackburn.
Other occupations of the Wilson,Horse dealer,Hawker,Basketmaker and Tinsmith.
I am also looking for any help with these Wilson families.

Any of your Wilsons come from Hull way?
George Wilson married Deliah (Delilah) Wilhelmina Boss and his brother (reputedly anyway) William Wilson married her sister Brittania "Annie" Boss. Both the Boss girls were daughters of Riley Boss.
