I would be interested to learn if there are any special arrangements made for the funerals of traveller families. Would they be buried or cremated and where would this be? I am particularly interested in travellers who died in the Kent area around the early 1960'S. Thank you for your help.

Think most are buried as opposed to cremated, but I could be wrong as now adays maybe it different but I think the old ones were buried?

hi kids, most gypsy folks are buried an very big thing is made o most funrals that i ever knew of with the finest headstones that the famly coult afford but in days gone by lots a folki was given roadside burials an there own ppl knows where they are, some has em re buried now that times are better an there is more mony bout to do things proper an in old roadside or hegerow burials they use to plant thorn trees over graves to stop animals an such disturbin there ppl all best ----kilby---

I know around where I live nearly all are buried, and have very ornnate stones and are allways kept lovely with lots of flowers and some have lovely
statues of the Lord and Mother Mary some are really quite beautifull.
