Hi Ivan

I've been tracing Wilson family - James (Gentleman Jim) from Stokesley in Yorkshire and his last wife Jane Watson - they were my wife's maternal grandparents, living and travelling from Carlisle - though both died before she was born. If this sounds like the same family we'd like to share information with you and Ginger and Chaney!

Best Jon

Hi Jon,My Great-grand parents were James Wilson and Jane Watson,I only know that they married in Glasgow, but I think that they lived in Renfrewshire, they married in 1907, my gran Mary Wilson was born in 1910,my Gr.Grandad James Wilson occupation  was a horse dealer on my gran Mary,s death certificate.
I would love to hear more about this family as I have been searching for some time now.

Hi Jon & Ivan

My G G Grandad was James Wilson, I have him born in 1796 in Londonderry, Ireland and he has been described as a traveller and a hawker on his childrens marriage certs. However his children did settle in Hull, Yorkshire. I know he had two sons George and William but i am sure he must have had more children. The two sons married two travelling sisters Deliah Boss and Brittannia Boss. I have no knowledge of whom James married. Do you have any details of James's children as this will allow me to connect my tree with your information.

Many Thanks, Tracey
