| Hey Folki, thought we should have a contrast to the "favorite" thread..... For me it has to be internal organs or offal which i believe is the correct term. Liver, Kidney, Hearts, Tongue, agghhh NASTY! I sat down to a christmas dinner one year, poured on the gravy and got the scent of kidney. The gravy had been made using meat juices from a previous meal. Ruined it for me. Whats your most detested food? |

I am with you Bill, organ meat is bad. Liver tastes like eating dry dirt, and kidney yuk, no no no. Beef heart is good if it is done the right way. |

Have any of you heard of skirly thats nice,my gran used to make it(oatmeal fried with onions)my gran was of the traveller people
My favourite when I lived in England was the meat puddings with mushy peas, still can taste them lol

That cracked me up!
I wouldn't call it food. But, the worst thing I ever put in my mouth was minks scent glands liquid. The smell of those things could knock over a horse. Get it in ye mouth and ye want to die!

Burnt eggs, blech. Nothing tastes worse than a badly-cooked omelette, especially if you've added too much oregano. I speak from experience.
