I be up for a strong coffee, why cant you get decent coffee anymore. Go in any fastfood/petrol station and the coffee is off. I only get good coffee at home so another pot elsewhere is welcome:)

Sean.

hi sean, welcome to the site and feel welcome to vent your self in here any time. I have relitives who've lived around cambridge, i dont here much of them . it was good to here you standing up for the traveller family trying to set up a site for themselves. since the government took away the responcibility of the councils to supply sites, getting planning permission is getting harder and harder. For years people have lived with travellers living in there towns and villages, with them being part of the community, but now since the press and politices have got there hands on the imagration and gypsie agenders I think it must win votes, but they dont think these are people too and they too need some-where to live and work. And when the people now find outthat a site is up for planning they dont want us in there community. I have been tracing my family tree and I am a gypsy, My family have been a very big part of the communities in which they lived and travelled in for hundreds of years but now we are public enamy number one.Good on you for standing up to the council and thank you too. I am glad to see there are some people out there who are willing to stick out there necks to help show that we are human too.

May the peace of the LORD be with you always. God Bless

Thankyou for the good coffee and welcome. We are all the same in my opinion. We all have one thing in common that bonds us all, regardless of colour, creed, background, religion etc.... we are human. I am not a political man, i take things as i see them. Right or wrong and i stand by my beliefs/convictions.

I know 3 people from the Traveling community who i regard as friends and i can turn to them for anything and they can turn to me in return.

I dont want people thinking i am out for a cause, it just brings it home when it is on your doorstep how ignorant and selfish people are. I got so much anger towards these people that it if was not for my family i would do time to relieve this world of them, but then that would make me wrong. Perhaps i have double standards or i am hypacritical. i find it really hard to get my emotions out.

I cant imagine if i had to protect my family and provide a safe haven, i can imagine how people feel.
Sorry, i am just droning on, even certain members of my own family have bigoted views.

Thankyou for the coffee, hope the pot stays hot:)

Sean.

I drink lottsa coffee, I like it strong with sugar, but no cream.
Cream makes coffee taste bad.

Dordi. I go away for a few week and every-thing seems to take off in this place.

the summer definatly doesn'tseem to be a good season on jf. last year i went away and i still don't know really what I missed...

On a more serious note I hope no ones leaving, it would be a shame. this site may have its ups and downs (it is a bit of a emotional rolla costa most of the time),but if you stick it's got some nice people on it, and most of us mean no-one no harm.
I don't know about others but, may be we need a relaunch,Were we call it all a truce and keep up the good work.

there are those of us that even through the ups and downs have stayed and went along with the ride. every-body who's been on lately seems to get on alright, we may be a bit boring or just talk of day to day activities, but you know whats the harm in that.

we seem to be getting on alright and theres even people joining again and taking part.
The site has i admit needed a administrator as with all things with-out a little maintainance the web site doesn't always run asit needs to so it can facilitate a working forum. So I'll say thank you to romanyangel for coming in and sorting things out.

Hello to all the folks who I thought had deserted.
I didnt know you had been banned. hope your all well.
I only pop in these days as i dont realy have time to read all the posts, its only if I'm not well when I have more time,I have to take things a lot easier now.
Some-times i have learned that not all posts are for me to reply to.lol. your skin also gets a bit thicker when you have been using these sites after a while and well I tend not to take things personally now.
I also know that whats been writen isn't alway what it seems on the page. Apparently communication is only 10% vebal and the rest is down to intuition, bady language and eye contact ect, so some-times things need a lot more explanation and keeping within context to be understood properly.
well I'll go just now and wish you all well.

May the peace of the LORD be with you always. God Bless

You know what I would so love a cup of coffee right now :)That would be great, thank you. I am up late workin on my essay ~ well trying to ayway, LOL. Not sure if the question is written in English mind you...

"How is consumption affected by the proliferation of knowledge in contemporary society? Discuss with reference to one or more of the theories from chapter 4, using examples of medical knowledge".

Cor, how u answer that, LOL!!! Seriously just need another 1,500 and I'm done, LOL.

I think anyone who has just read that question deserves a coffee, no wait make that a double wiskey, LOL.

Good evening Valerie, hope you are well my dear. You are right only 10% of our communcation is verbal. So the rest is through body lang, tone of voice, eye contact and intuition. My tutor at uni gave a good example of the dangerous of electronic communcation. A man txt a friend to say he wife had died the man txt back 'Soz 4 u're loss, LOL'. Now the husband thinking the man meant 'Lots of laughs' got very upset. Turns out the man had meant 'Loves of love'.

Bewarned the internet does bring about alot of misunderstandings. I have had a fair few misunderstandings in the past, which is a shame :(
