ye kilby that was my uncle. I dont think i've seen as big a funnerel in a long time. It was sad though,in the last eight months his lad died and my aunt, his sister died. and we've alway been here together.even when we have a shift we always seem to end up in the same places as each other. so we all felt for one and other. it was a sad day, but it aso showed me that we are a strongly bonded family, we all seem to come back together and we're at home with each other.

its getting hard to earn a living, they're always making you apply for this and apply for that.
I had a thing(document) a while back and it was saying that some groups of gypsy in India, the authorities used to think they'd chored the little children, because they'd have babys with blond hair, the children kept the blond hair till they're about five or even till they get to about ten. It happens here with the travellers as well,so me having red hair isn't something that going to get me running. my grandads family have only been breeding with the same people for hundreds of years. and his mam had red hair. she was a price, her mam was a lee and they are dark people, and the relatives are all shades. And my grannys people was scotch and they're all colours as well. you'll get one with milk white hair and then you'll get them as dark as coal. We're not the only ones either as you'll probably already know that. My mams people are all light, but i am the lightest in my own family.I supose the lighter genes attach themselves to and the like.

it takes a lot to really bother me and i dont think that any one saying owt on here will be bothering me that much.
its a bit divvi really and when i'm a bit tired i sometimes rise to there baiting, but when i'm right its themselves who come off croppers. but i'm not for falling out and whatevers said its just words and theres no harm really.its good for you really. theres nowt like a good old argument as my grandad used to say. but alls fair inlove and war so when theres a truce its all to be left behind.

May the peace of the LORD be with you always. God Bless

I used to be quite dark skinned, so much they called me Darkie at one school and I was not very popular. I had dark brown hair that was almost black. Now I'm older my skin is lighter and my hair has lost the black hue but is still dark brown. My first son was dark haired and brown eyed like me and ex hubby but son number 2 was so different. He was blonde with blue eyes and we used to joke he was the milkman's lol. He is also left handed with his writing. His hair is darker now like his brother but when I looked at an old photo of him the other day I was amazed at how blonde he was. And cute!! ;0)

My avvy is a picture that my mum has on her wall and when her place is sold I am having it to go in my front room. When my ex hubby first saw it he said " when did you have that painting done of Fee?" to my mum. He really thought it was me when I was younger so since then I have always laid claim to it, the Flower Girl :)

hi Kilby,
I forgot when i wrote it, i try as much as i can when i'm thinking only to write in english but sometimes the words i say to who-ever i'm talking to just slip out. would your family not have spoke Cant anyway. and if they did they wouldnt say chored would they? I remember before i was married and i stopped on camps when we pulled on with Irish people or Scotch people they didn't always know what we was saying and some of the english did't always know what they was saying.

I think the Prices you'd be refering to are the same ones, well they'd have the same grandad and granny. The ones you'd be knowing would have been the grandad and family to the ones that was stopping in kieghley a few weeks back. not the kelby girl but her husband and the others they where with. and the kelby girls husband it would be his great grandad and may be his mams people.
they'd probably have called themselves cousens to my uncle aras, and you probably would have met my grandad as well you know, he used to pass there all the time when he was on his travels. He would have been on a horse and cart or shifting with a wagon.

May the peace of the LORD be with you always. God Bless

hello fee. good to see you posting.
I love to see little blond hairs children too. my sisters little lad he's one, its a bit of a family trait. to have blond curly hair (if your a boy that is), and when they got too old to have there hair long they get it cutand it goes dark when they've had it cut. so it usually only stays light blond till they get to three, or if they're mams wont get it cut off till they're five or so.

Evening Kilby and Valerie. I've not got any pics on the computer of when my lads were young. I would have to scan some and the scanner is up my partners loft somewhere. My boys are 16 and 18 now so long past the cutie stage lol. My brother he had dark skin when he was born and my mum said it all peeled off (strange!) and he blonde curly hair as a young child then it went dark.

I'm not having anymore kiddywinks I hope to be blessed with grandkids in a few years then I can hand them back hehe ;0)
