Ha! eegit, I only learnt that word last year! My oh my, so many words to learn, not easy teaching an old dog new tricks. Last June we went to Samois in France with my cousin to the Django Rheinhart festival and there was some not all there woman and my cousin taught me that word, funny how some things stick in my head!! Knees are about the same, can hobble around with a stick, hope your wife feels better soon Kilby. |

| It was a fantastic festival, not so much the music played on the stage but all the traveller lads in little groups playing Django were brilliant, even little kids about 9/10 yr olds, some girls as well. It was more fun on the camping sites. I manged a few words to some Russian travellers and also got on well with some from USA. It was a lovely apmosphere and we hope to go again next year. Hank Marvin goes every year, we saw him but didn't get to talk to him. We saw Django's house and visited his grave. |

| Goodness me! Watch them mines! Knees not good, I got my daughter to take me to Tesco's yesterday, think I over did it!! At least it got some shopping done. Bless her, I got half way round hobbling then she had to go and get a wheel chair, so there she was pushing me with my 3 yr old and 7 month old Grandaughters sitting on me. We must have looked a sight! This time next year I should be able to enter a marathan! |

My knee was bad for many years, finally I could do no work at all. I got it fixed about 4 months ago. Now I becoming the strong man like I used to be. But it wont last a long time, in a few years it will need more drastic repair. Jimmy |

Hi Lyz, Think it just hits anyone. The babys sister had it God rest her. Baby is from west of Ireland not gypsy or tinker. Hope it dosnt pick on gypsy people more than gaje or any other body. Horrible thing to have, Ihad to dry her an powder her today just like a baby. She says its a hairy baby that she is so at least shes still keepin her sense of humor.---kilby---- |

| My dear Lyz I was happy to know that you went to that wodrefull festeval. I sure hoped that I could have been there to listen to Django's music, but I am very proud of you for visiting Django's grave,as a matter of fact, it is a buetifull grave with the guitar on it, yes, no doubt about it. he was the best in his business, this proves that we the Roma Gypsies, had and have a lot of talent,in music, and other activities so let us hope that some more Roma Gypsies, will show the world what we are capable off. Hello Victor, It sure is a beautiful grave. What amazed me was the fact that his plectrum??? (sp) and other things that people have left on it are still there. That wouldn't be so in the UK. I don't know how to put more than one photo on at a time so I will have to put them on seperatley. This one is of my partner David with Django Grandson, a lovely man who is eager to talk to everyone.
