Hello Prissy, Welcome to the site, I'm sure you will find it friendly and useful. I'm quite new as well, but might not be on line for a few days as I have to go into hospital tomorrow for an operation on both knees. Will get to know you more when I recover a bit. Lyz |

Hello, Thank You Kilby, not sure about the running around! Maybe if Prissy's dog is chasing me!! Just off to the hospital so will pop in and say hello asap. I am Romany/Traveller Amer, Curtis, Pettigrove, Bryant, Smith, Ball are the close family. I don't know your Dad, I noticed you were his carer, what is wrong with him? I am my partners carer, he had Polio when he was 4 yrs and left him a bit disabled, now Post Polio has kicked him along with Diabetes and a few more add ons. I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis so we make a good pair! See what I mean about running!!! Take care, Lyz |

Hi Ya, I am so sorry to hear about your wife, RA is awful and very very painful. I might spell bad, still woozy after op. Had a bad time I have Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia, both shit things to have! The op, well, can't walk for 4 weeks, arthritis has eaten away my bones, they cleaned bone fragments up and I have to have 2 knee replacements, they say I'm too young, well, there's a compliment!! 49 yrs, replacements you are supposed to be at least 55 yrs, so I have 3 months in recovery then they will decide what they are going to do. I am so bored, I never sit around and this is day one!! Please take care of your wife, give her lots of gentle hugs. Lyz |

Hello, I know how she feels, fustrated and guilty in a weird sort of way. Fibromyalgia is like arthritis in the muscles, whole body feels like it is burning, forgetfulness and can't sleep. It often runs along side Osteoarthritis and RA what your wife has. Google it and it will tell you more. I'd love to go back to work, I was a teacher for teenage kids with autisim, really miss it and the wages! |

I have been married for 24 years,my wife has all her eight great grand parents from large Gypsy families. Her Dad was a BLACK, his mother was a GREEN.My wife's Granfer Black's sister was Jaynie Bull, Johnny Frankham's Granny. My mother in law's Dad was Leonard SMITH and her mother was Caroline RAY.The Smith's trace back to Ambrose Smith son of Neptune Smith. My mother-in-law's Grandparents were Sidney (Nippy) Smith and Jane Isaacs and James Ray and Elizabeth Mitchell. I have collected a lot of information over the years concerning the Ayres and Bowers family and also a fair bit of my better half's Romany decended families. | I also too wish Hello to all, i wish to introduce myself , my name jayay i use cos of my 2 child who’s both midle names are Jay, although i am not of Romani blood I have known many in the past of many years ago, i used to work and travel wid a familiar who i grew to love so dearly, I learned to rokker through them and it was i went away and met with a rakli and had children *those children now age 16 and 17 so it has been many year, whilst wid the Romni’s i met wiv many others and was always welcomed, it was this experiance where i learned to respect all of the drom and you know, they never taught me to dislike gorja, but my experiance made me feel ashamed to be gorja and dare i ever admit been so LOL, I know that this site is for Roms and travellers alike so really i should not impose myself and if the majority wish me not to be here i would with a smile not return. I do hope that some time in the near future to either buy or build an open lot and be away even if it means only to visit the horse fairs and HOPEFULLY meet with the children who now have grown up and probably have children of their own. not a week throughout all those years have gone by without a thought for them. god bless to them all where ever they may be, I do know that the son (who was 7 years old back then) is somewhere in Bradford. I wish at this point in respect to their privacy to not mention names. kushti bok, Jayjay |
