i have just joined although i expect alot of you may know me from other sites.i have seen folk have been posting about the ayres family.i am very interested as my gt uncle john birch married emma ayres and as far as i know they had anadopted daughter called gladys.i know about the other birchs of that era but not a lot about emma marrying john.if anyone has any info i would be very pleased to recive it.cathayb:)

thanks email recived and understood.i will be in touch in the next couple of days.got a new plot to get ready for one of our daughter so a bit busy at the moment.birchs are sometimes down as burge by the way also burch and birchall!!!and possibly bearse although the last name yet to be proved.cathayb

That's quite ok, Cathay. Short of dropping dead, I'm not really planning in vanishing any time soon

In fact, I've just sent for some Memory for this thing. They say that'll make it work better. Then I'm looking at getting broad band. All that will, hopefully, make it easier for me to access my genealogy site. So, I'll be able to access stuff faster.

Until then, I'm kind of treading water with it all anyway.
