| is there anyone out there who recognises these names Jack Harris he married a Rose Upton they were my great granparents there daughter my granny was elizabeth. i am trying to reseach the family tree and in need of info they lived in Romford essex on the 1911 census he was 26 she was 23 they also had a son ernie. plus other children any info would be appreciated for jack or rose ................. |

Hello Anna, There is a Rose Upton age 3 with her parents in the 1891 census, Joseph Upton, Age 26, A Hawker and his wife June? Upton also age 26, they are at Chigwell Essex, RG12/1361/109/32 is the image number, The description is Caravan, Forest, Chigwell Moor.
Jack Harris would be rather harder for me to find as he could also be known as John (Jack is often used by John's) there are a number of these that could be him but the place of birth given on the 1911 census that you have could help work out who he belongs to.

| my grandfather was born in sudbury suffolk in 1881 his parent wre william and maryann nee miller so far i found learned of two sons george and jack but if they didnt buck the trend they would have named their first william hope its helpfull |

| Sounds like we are related any info you have would be appreciated. My Jack was born Sudbury and a marine store dealer on the 1911 cesus with his wife Rose and 2 kids Ernest & Elizabeth(My Granny)could the dad William be William George or vise versa. do you know where they originated from and were they travellers all there lives so many questions i know.lol but your a braekthrough at last please get back to me thanks |

| is it possible to send private messages on here? so i can send you my email, am i getting this right your great grandad George was my great grandad Jacks brother? was there mother nicknamed Molly? i know about the Eastwood Estate and the cemetary a lot of Buckley's are buried there too my great grandad John Buckley and great granny Menty nee Loveridge, i realy would like to know more about the Harris side as i know little is there any photos of them? and where did they originate from? have you got Facebook? hope you get this message as this site is playing up anyway get back to me soon take care x |

| Jack was a Marine store dealer too. sorry but i am still trying to trace the history so i dont know about Leana as yet, i dont know a great deal about the Harris side and most of the relatives dont know much seems the family drifted apart, well Jacks family did and vanished i am trying to trace decendents of his to shed some light, how far have you got with the history? it would be helpful names and dates if you have any if your Grandad George is my Jacks brother dates of birth and dates for brothers and sisters if any, i should imagine theres a few skeletons in the cupboard along the way, as Jack was know as a bit of a rogue.lol is there any Irish background do you know? i can not find a birth certificate for Jack nor marriage only concrete info i have of him is the 1911 census him living in caravan Romford Essex with wife and 2 kids Marine store dealer, i have heard his father and mother had a house, i think Manor Park London was said, also Jacks kids were called Ernest, Elizabeth, Billy, Rose,.Harriette, Olive there the only names i know so far and thats from relatives but theres proberly more, i would be nice to trace one of these peoples children or grankids, as it seems i need more info to get info if you know what i mean..lol its very hard when you have hardley no info, any you get please let me know,:) |

| jack harris was find 14 shillings in 1009 in eastwood my grandfather lived on the bohemian estate in 1911 i checked in southend library in the kellys address book for 1911 it had no gypies at that address except those in houses im going to romford sat 2nd april to its library wish me luck |
