At least, I've been told that I'm probably descended from a family called the Whites who used to be in the Derbyshire area. I've got a reason for joining you. I'm engaged in an argument on another forum with a bunch of traveller-hating bigots who are desperate to get to get some travellers who have arrived locally for a religious festival next week, moved on. I need amnunition to defend them. I'll look around the forum and see if there's a more appopriate section for my tale. Otherwise, I'll be back to this bit

hello i'm valerie. my last name was taylor before i was married and my granny was a varey. can i help. i'll be around, online, in and out for tonight and tomorrow. i dont come on here mush any more but i do look in sometime.and i still get emails. wheres the other forum? are you a traveller then or just a fan?

Hello Valerie! Like I said in my post, it's rumoured within the family that I'm probably descended from the "tinker" Whites of Drebyshire. But that's really got nothing to do with my argument on that other forum that I mentioned here and also on "Traveller Bashing." I just hate prejudice. The forum I mentioned is here:- http://midforum.editboard.com/index.htm Go to Midlothian Local Issues, then "Park and Ride" and start at page 5. (I post as rubbereye.) I should maybe add that I'm not a Christian so that, in spite of my trying to defend the travellers, my attitutude to religion generally in some of rubbereye's posts might offend you....... But I hope not.

Hello, I travel In both a wagon (on tyres which looks like a reading inside and out ) and on the water on a boat. I thought I'd come here to look and sit by a friendly fire? or 3?
