To Believe

To believe, is not easy because to believe or have faith is a very powerful thing! I personally believe that this comes from a divine force and is always with us, the body is, and always was to carry this force, but unfortunately very few people have the power to come into contact with it. These people are born to deal with this force that is why we the Gypsies have a certain fear from such people who have extra ordinary powers. This our people knew thousands of years ago, that is why we are good in fortune telling and other thousands of ways to see the past or the future. These stories that I relate on this Journey Folki Web site are stories of our old people that believed in these stories with all their hearts, of course there are exceptions… today I sometimes wonder why there are countries fighting wars for their religion, even in the First World War! I wanted to say something to these people, to look a little towards us Gypsies, were we have all types of religions, and yet we manage to tolerate any other religion, and do you know why? I will tell you why… because we Gypsies were all once upon a time one people one religion one culture!
